About Kathleen

As a teacher, Kathleen specialized in science and language arts. She enjoyed helping students feed the class tarantula, dissect owl pellets, and raise painted lady butterflies. But her favorite activity was reading aloud poetry by Shel Silverstein.
Kathleen grew up in Kansas, where she learned how to ride horses and grow giant sunflowers. She lives in Colorado with her husband and daughter. If it’s not snowing, you’ll probably find her bird-watching in the park across the street.
She is represented by Elise Howard at DeFiore & Company.
